This Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between HG Detailing, a sole proprietorship operating in Ringle, Wisconsin (“Company,” “HG Detailing,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), and the individual or entity receiving services (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”). By scheduling, purchasing, or accepting any service from HG Detailing, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Scope of Services

HG Detailing provides professional automotive detailing services, including but not limited to interior and exterior detailing, paint correction, ceramic coating application, window tinting, and related vehicle appearance services (collectively, “Services”).
The Company reserves the exclusive right to accept, modify, refuse, or discontinue any Service at its sole discretion, for any reason and at any time.

2. Scheduling, Cancellations, and Rescheduling

2.1 Appointments may be scheduled by phone, text, or through HG Detailing’s website.
2.2 Customer cancellations must be made no less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.
2.3 Cancellations made within twenty-four (24) hours or failure to appear for a scheduled appointment may result in a cancellation fee of up to fifty percent (50%) of the quoted service amount.
2.4 HG Detailing reserves the right to postpone or reschedule any appointment due to inclement weather, unsafe conditions, equipment failure, or other circumstances beyond the Company’s control without liability.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 HG Detailing currently accepts cash or check as valid forms of payment.
3.2 Full payment is due immediately upon completion of Services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.3 Returned or dishonored checks will incur a $35.00 service fee, in addition to any bank or collection charges.
3.4 Failure to render timely payment may result in refusal of future service and possible legal collection action. The Customer shall be responsible for all reasonable attorney’s fees, court costs, and collection expenses incurred by HG Detailing in enforcing payment.

4. Ceramic Coating Deposits

4.1 Due to the cost of materials, ceramic coating services require a non-refundable deposit of up to three hundred dollars ($300.00) before any product is ordered or work is scheduled.
4.2 This deposit guarantees your booking date and covers the cost of ordering coating materials specific to your vehicle.
4.3 The deposit will be applied toward the final service balance.
4.4 If the Customer cancels or fails to appear, the deposit is forfeited in full to cover material and scheduling costs.

5. Condition of Vehicle and Pre-Existing Damage

5.1 The Customer represents that the vehicle presented for service is in safe, operable condition.
5.2 HG Detailing shall not be held liable for any pre-existing damage to the vehicle, including but not limited to scratches, dents, rock chips, rust, clear coat failure, stains, or mechanical/electrical issues.
5.3 HG Detailing may document vehicle condition with photographs or video before and after service for internal records and protection against false claims.
5.4 The Customer agrees to remove all personal belongings prior to service. HG Detailing is not responsible for loss or damage to any personal property left in the vehicle.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 HG Detailing shall exercise reasonable care and skill while performing Services; however, HG Detailing shall not be liable for:

• Pre-existing or hidden defects in materials or finishes;
• Weak or oxidized paint or clear coat failure;
• Electrical or mechanical malfunctions during or after service;
• Damage from rust, corrosion, or aftermarket components;
• Water intrusion due to worn or faulty seals.

6.2 In no event shall HG Detailing’s total liability, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, exceed the total amount paid by the Customer for the specific Service in question.
6.3 HG Detailing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of income, or vehicle devaluation.

7. Damage Claims

7.1 Any claim of alleged damage or dissatisfaction must be reported to HG Detailing within twenty-four (24) hours of service completion, with supporting photos and written details.
7.2 Failure to report within this timeframe constitutes full acceptance of Services rendered and waiver of all claims.
7.3 HG Detailing reserves the right to inspect and, at its discretion, determine appropriate resolution, which may include rework or limited compensation not exceeding the service amount paid.

8. Customer Obligations

The Customer agrees to:

• Provide a safe, level workspace for mobile services.
• Supply access to water and power if required.
• Disclose any unique vehicle coatings, wraps, or materials.
• Be present or have authorized personnel available at drop-off and pick-up.

Failure to comply may result in cancellation or delay without refund.

9. Refund Policy

All Services are performed with care and professionalism. Due to the subjective nature of detailing, no refunds will be issued once work has commenced. Adjustments or corrections may be offered solely at HG Detailing’s discretion if a clear service error is identified.

10. Weather, Safety, and Property Access

HG Detailing reserves the right to delay, reschedule, or refuse Services in the event of unsafe weather, hazardous environments, or property conditions that may endanger personnel or equipment. HG Detailing shall not be held liable for delays or cancellations caused by such conditions.

11. Indemnification and Release of Liability

By accepting Services, the Customer agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless HG Detailing, its owner, employees, and affiliates from any and all claims, losses, or damages arising from or related to the Services performed, except in cases of proven gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

12. Photography and Marketing

HG Detailing may photograph or film vehicles before and after Services for documentation, promotional, or marketing purposes. Customers may opt out by providing written notice prior to service.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin.
Any dispute arising under or related to this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively in Marathon County, Wisconsin, through binding arbitration or small claims court at HG Detailing’s discretion.

14. Severability

If any portion of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

This document represents the complete understanding between the Customer and HG Detailing. No oral agreements or prior discussions shall alter or supersede these terms.

16. Acknowledgment

By booking, paying for, or accepting Services, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all Terms & Conditions stated herein and release HG Detailing from liability except as expressly provided.
